MAROANTSETRA / PN MASOALA

 

Masoala has preserved remarkable landscapes, last memories of what the greenery the island was. The Masoala National Park has great tourist attraction with important historical richness. Masoala is among the region’s the richest in biodiversity. It’s an exceptional biodiversity formed by a fauna that has a high rate of endemic and representative of Malagasy fauna and diverse flora.

  • Discover one of the wilder facets of Madagascar: Masoala National Park. There are islands of forests or of rocks, coral reefs, sea grass areas and mangrove forests. TANA / ANJAJAVY

 

Anjajavy is both the name of a fishermen village inaccessible for unwary visitor and it’s a wonderful peninsula at the end of the world. Anjajavy is situated in a reserve of 550 hectares. The reserve has an extreme richness of endemic flora and shelters many species of lemurs and reptiles. 4 different types of environments:

  1. A dry forest with rosewood, baobab trees and other endemic species.
  2. A mangrove forest, a protective coat for the reserve.
  3. The tsingy, famous millennia coral remains sculpted by erosion.
  4. Wild and deserted sandy beaches.

 

  • Transfer to the airport and boarding a private plane for Anjajavy (1h30 of flight).
  • Arrival and settle at the hotel and lunch.
  • Free afternoon for a first discovery of Anjajavy.

Anjajavy has a gorgeous beach perfect for swimming and a marina on the river sheltered from winds. A wide range of water sports is possible from the marina.

 

  • Free day in Anjajavy.
  • The hotel offers many activities and a wide range of outings, accessible to all. It does not require particular physical fitness.
  • About only 30 minutes of flight, treat yourself by the Cirque Rouge and its mineral curiosities, the fishing village and beaches of Amborovy and the beautiful Lake of Mangatsa.
  • A small ride in rickshaw in Mahajanga will make you enjoy the beautiful landscape in a way more original.
